Black N' Blues is some hard hittin' blues that will funk you up!! We do it all, Chicago, Delta, Zydeco, and that funky blues you love to dance to. We are THE party band. We get the crowd rowdy and drinking. Anyone who hires us, won't be disappointed. " Hey, hey, the blues is alright"

Our influences are vast. The members of BNB, have performed with blues greats Luther Allison, Koko Taylor, Lonnie Brooks, Ron Prince, and Jimmy Johnson and up and comer Zach Harmon. These artists are some of BNB's blues influences. We have all been influenced by not just the blues, but by jazz, funk, r&b, hiphop and soul. All of these genres are incorporated into BNB's style. We are a very diverse group of musicians, and our original music is an example of that diversity. The bands influences are Albert King, B.B. King, Howlin' Wolf, Luther Allison, EWF, Cameo, Marcus Miller, Tyrone Davis, Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Buckwheat Zydeco, Neville Brothers, Soulive, The Roots, Black Jack Johnson, Mos Def, Public Enemy, Clyde Stubblefield, Fred Wesley, MACEO, James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, Aretha Franklin and Prince. What sets us apart is our originality and of course or performances. We kick ass live. We live to play for the masses. Thats what we love, performing for people. We want the people to love what we do, and it shows in our performances. BNB was just nominated for two Madison Area Music Awards, "Best Blues Artist" and "Best Blues Album", "Live at Luther's Blues" recorded September 4th 2004 at Luthers Blues in Madison Wisconsin.
