WOW!!!!!! It's going to be a very busy 6 weeks for me coming up with some local gigs around Madison Area. First I will be hosting the "Funky Mondays" for the next 6 weeks starting April 28th while Clyde Stubblefield goes on tour with James Brown's band. It’s always a privileged to sub for the "original funky drummer" and play with his band. Clyde and the James Brown band will be performing a tribute to James Brown, who I think has not been buried yet. True. Next, Adam Isaac and the people start Wednesdays every other week starting May 7th at Cafe Montmartre. Finally, the last Tuesday of every month Adam Isaac will be playing at the Cardinal Bar. The last time we played no one showed up so come down and support us on the last Tuesday of each month and have "funky good time" at the Cardinal Bar. Check out my upcoming shows with Charles Walker Band, Honor Among Thieves, Jim Schwall Band, and the return of the Black N' Blues ALL STARS. I hope to see you all at my next gig. Peace.

I am starting a "chops builder" class for those who want to keep up those drum corps chops and for set drummers looking to improve there hand speed and develop a solid rudimental drumming base. The cost is $100 for five 1-hour sessions. 6-7pm on Wednesday nights. If any of you local (Madison Scout Alum) guys are interested in getting together once a week this would be a great way to get together and play. Anyone interested? All you need to bring is a checkbook, reel feel pad, and sticks. Right now I have a class of three. Next week I hope to double that number.

Any adults out there want to learn how to play drum kit? I am currently looking to fill afternoon slots on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. If your interested call me and set up a lesson time. Only 30 minutes once a week. I guarantee you will be playing the drum kit after four lessons.

I just recently became a member of one of the top blues acts in Wisconsin. The Charles Walker Blues Band out of Milwaukee. This band rocks original hardcore blues, r&b, funk, carribean and latin style rhythms, and just signed a record deal with Lucky 13 records. I am proud to be apart of this "homegrown" music group that is primed to make a name for themselves in the regional and national blues market. Drum lessons anyone? I am now teaching private drum lessons at Drums N'Moore in Monona. Beginner drum students experience a fun, rudimental approach to learning how to drum and later apply rudimental skills to the drum kit. Advance students focus on performance, improvisational concepts, hand and foot speed, and technique. I specialize in performance, improvisational concepts for the advanced drummer, Drum Corp snare drumming, and all styles of music. The rate is $70 for four thirty minute lessons. The "Honor Among Thieves" documentary is now in the Wisconsin Public Television schedule for Saturday, May 5 at 10:00 p.m. " In addition to airing the "Rockumentary" May 5, the program director is requesting a custom made (in house) on-air promotion spot that'll be in rotation in prime time breaks for the ten days before the broadcast. Cool! So don't miss our televison debut.
